The new series will take place 70 years after the end of the Avatar: The Last Airbender story arc, with all-new characters and settings. The protagonist of the new series, Korra, the next Avatar after Aang, is a hot-headed and rebellious young woman from the Southern Water Tribe who is "ready to take on the world". The series plans to follow Korra as she faces an anti-bender revolt while mastering the art of Airbending from Aang and Katara's son, Tenzin.

- I like Mako name for Iroh's voice, but also I don't like because it sound as Maiko :/ (yeah! no a big fan of Mai)
- It's just me or it seems like there is a bender tournament in the trailer? Maybe there is where Korra will find her teachers?
- Kind I like the news cities!! but the clothes... (I'm not sure about the fashion lol lol lol... specially Korra's)

-Aang and Katara had 3 kids. The youngest is Tenzin (and the only airbender),
- Tenzin has his own family. Pema is his wife. Jinora, a "bookworm", and Ikki, a "motor-mouth", are his daughters while Meelo, his youngest child, is his son.
- Toph has a daughter and she's Chief of police. She travelled extensively to teach Metalbending after the war.
